Client:

The University of Manchester Eurolens Research Centre is one of the top myopic research centres in the entirety of the United Kingdom, specialising in optical lenses.

Challenge:

The existing storage method for keeping records was out of date and just not suitable any longer for the growing records. There was no clear or available space within any of the administration offices.

Solution:

The only possible space was in the corridor and in a recess, so that it would not obstruct the fire escape route. Storwell designers came up with a Storage Wall solution that used the full height available

Benefit:

All of the file records could now be stored in tailor-made pull out suspension file cradles using the first 4 levels in the lateral files in the upper three levels thereafter. In total three storage wall units were installed. The university’s site facilities instructor placed the order with Storwell. Our engineer arrived early at 7.30am and had the installation completed in the same day.
