Client:

TaxBar, also know as the Grey’s Inn Tax Chambers, are leaders in Tax Law. They represent both the client taxpayers and the HMRC.

Challenge:

The relocation to a new premises in Central London meant that archive space was going to be limited and records had to be held in a very secure manner.

Solution:

Interior specialists, Loop Interiors, contacted Storwell for their best advice and recommended a layout for a planned basement store. Our designers got to work to make best use of the space. TaxBar wanted a fully closed solid steel partitioned area for their critical computer servers. The roof was constructed out of mesh to keep the computers cool but secure.

The remaining area allowed Storwell to divide up sixteen individual mesh cage areas. Each cage was lockable with five lever euro cylinder door locks.

Within each cage heavy duty steel shelving was supplied and installed to make maximum use of the space to store a large archive boxes full of case files.

Benefit:

Each of the TaxBar members could have a secure mesh cage with shelving optimised to provide maximum storage capacity.

Important records now could be kept close at hand where they were needed rather than being sent off site and held in expensive third party storage facilities.

Each of the cages has its own unique secure set of keys. Replacement keys are strictly restricted and only available to authorised personnel within TaxBar who can provide a specific user password and code.

Crucial records are accessible only to nominated people with identification and retrieval of specific files greatly sped up.
