Pull out Picture / Art Racking

All Museums, County Councils and Private Art Galleries with Artworks and Paintings that need to be stored safely and accessed from time to time to display or send out on loan can call upon Storwell to install one of our tailor-made storage solutions.

Every Pull Out Storage system is individually designed to fit into the room available - making best use of the floor space and maximizing the headroom.

The gap between the pull out racks will depend on the size and depth of the picture frames to be stored but this is typically around 200mm.

The system can easily be added to and extended as the collection grows or dis-mantled and relocated in the future whenever required

Modular Track & Floor

Practically vibration free the Pull Out racks run on wheels & bearings designed to allow easy and smooth running with the minimum of effort.

Our level-able modular floor system has guide tracks that site directly on the existing floor structure with drop in melamine faced decking panels in between to provide a safe flush walkway. A gentle metal ramp in front allows access steps and trolleys to maneuvered into the system

Overhead Anti-Tip

The overhead anti-tip guide rails can either be fixed directly to the ceiling above or hung from a freestanding steel cage frame which can be supplied and erected by us beforehand.

Each Pull Out Rack has potentially two faces of 50mm x 50mm Steel Mesh paneling on each side on which to hang Pictures or Artwork of various sizes using standard picture hooks. The mesh screens allow both light and air to circulate freely.
