Steel Partitioning News
MOD – Goods Inwards Stores – February 2009
The Ministry of Defence at their Burnley site needed a secure mesh storage cage manufactured to specific sizes and constructed in heavy duty mesh.
The mesh partition walls were constructed from our 50mm x 50mm x 10g ( 3mm ) mesh wire. The Mesh storage cages needed a mesh roof over the top to provide even more security which we were able to supply.
The MOD had the Mesh security cage delivered to their site in a knock down component form with all the fixings needed and a simple to follow assembly sheet.
The clients were impressed with the ease of construction and simple instructions.
Mesh Steel Partitioning for PDP Engineering Ltd 05-11-08
Fabrication specialists PDP Engineering Ltd based in Tyseley Birmingham had an unusual storage problem so they contacted Storwell Systems once again to help them out.
Alison Cole Director of PDP said "I was certain Storwell would have the expertise to offer a tailor-made storage solution even though this enquiry was a bit special"
They wanted security and pigeon hole storage to hold over 150 individual machine tool bits which are unique for each production process and as such are extremely valuable to keep production running.
The solution Storwell recommended provided for Mesh security steel partitioning on two sides and a bespoke pigeon hole storage unit fabricated from 18mm melamine faced MDF.
The unit stood 10 levels high and 15 across to give 150 individual locations. The front lips were protected with a 2mm thick high impact PVC stripping.
From site survey to final installation the whole storage project was completed in under 4 weeks.
